A remake of the 1947 classic of the same name, this movie is a great way to remember what the Christmas Spirit is all about, whether you’re a believer or not!

Number 8: The Santa Clause (1994)

Dad becomes Santa overnight? Talk about a dream come true for any kid!

Number 7: Bad Santa (2003)

It’s not all snowy heaven, family around the tree, good-feel movies in this list. Bad Santa is a satirical and funny take on Christmas, and an enjoyable movie at that. Don’t count it out!

Number 6: Just Friends (2005)

Whether you’ve seen it a hundred times or you’re new to this movie, we believe it has everything a Christmas Movie needs: it’s funny, it’s romantic and it has Ryan Reynolds of course!

Number 5: A Christmas Story (1983)

Ralphie and his family inevitably make their way into our hearts in this great Christmas Classic.

Number 4: Elf (2003)

It’s goofy, it’s funny, it’s Elf! Charming and entertaining, Elf is a beloved holiday classic with good reason.

Number 3: Jingle all the Way (1996)

It ‘s Turbo Time! We mean, it’s Christmas Time! This great Christmas classic is enjoyable for the whole family.

Number 2: Love Actually (2003)

Love in all its different manifestations around Christmas time! With an untraditional format, specially for the time it was released, following several different stories, Love Actually is a very sweet and nostalgic movie about us humans, how we love and Christmas!

Number 1: Home Alone (1990)

We KNOW you’ve seen it, but what Christmas Movie list can leave out Home Alone? It wouldn’t be Christmas without getting hooked on Home Alone or streaming it!

Special mentions

Not all Christmas movies are made equal, and we definitely had a hard time narrowing down the list to make it both unpredictable but referential, no easy task! So in the true Christmas Spirit, we want to make a special mention to a few others that, while not on the actual list, deserve a special mention.
